THIS IS HOW WE GO BEYOND THE LABELS

With Beyond the Labels, we focus on “being and being together” of the individual and collective (this can be a team or an entire organization). Among other things, we will work on:
 

●      identity

●      unconscious biases

●      social constructs

●      individual strengths and self-efficacy

●      power

●      privilege

●      trust, psychological safety & authentic connection

 

In Beyond the Labels, we uncover our unique, individual differences. This starts with examining the different aspects within ourselves, as we are not one-dimensional human beings. It is useful to understand which aspects of our identity are important to us and how these characteristics build on each other – how they create our own unique perspectives, experiences, and “labels,” which are also subject to external influences.

CLARITY AND UNDERSTANDING

By examining the labels we give ourselves and each other, we understand why we see and experience things in a certain way. By making this explicit in communication, we create clarity, awareness, and understanding. But we don't want to get stuck in these labels. Above all, this awareness should make it possible for you to be yourself. Just be – because even if you have labels, it doesn’t mean you are them.

AT HOME IN THE WORKPLACE

The challenge for the collective within this process is to create structures in which individual differences can exist – an environment in which individual needs are weighed against collective interests and belonging is ensured. This way individual differences become valuable and when brought together, form an even more powerful whole. Ultimately, the workplace will become a place where you feel you belong, where you feel safe, where you enjoy being and where your talent can prosper.

 

In the Beyond the Labels program we work in groups. We use a systemic approach to culture change in combination with dialogue.

AFTERWARDS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO

  • Recognize that we are all different and also very much the same, making it possible to create authentic connections

  • Create more psychological safety and space for differences

  • Identify the labels you put on yourself and on others (and vice versa),

  • Deal with and step out of those labels

  • Recognize and use the value of labels effectively

  • be autonomous without compromising the quality of authentic connections
